CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION COURSE CPR
MILAN 2024

Introduction

The next Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course will be held at theSan Luca Hospital, Piazzale Brescia, 20 Milan, 8th floor, on 10 February 2024 from 8.30 to 11.30 approximately and will be taught by four instructors certified for BLSD courses, two doctors from the cardiomyopathy group, Doctor Fratianni and Doctor Mariani and two nurses from the critical area, Serena Nieri and Maurizio Taglieri.

This course is wanted and organized by the Cardiomyopathies Center of the Auxological Institute, San Luca Hospital in Milan (www.auxologico.it/centro-ricerche-cardiomiopatie-base-genetica, www.auxologico.it/centro-cardiomiopatie) and by the AICARM APS association (www.aicarm.it).

The Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course is designed for family members of patients suffering from cardiomyopathy and begins with a general theoretical introduction and continues with the demonstration, by the instructor, of CPR maneuvers and the use of the semi-automatic external defibrillator (AED).

Subsequently, each participant is invited to perform CPR maneuvers on a dummy and to use a device that simulates the behavior of a real semi-automatic external defibrillator (AED).

The course requires each participant to repeat all the maneuvers more than once in order to memorize the procedures well.

It is therefore recommended to participate in the course with comfortable clothing, which does not create difficulties in carrying out the required maneuvers.

The maximum number of participants is 16 members.

Written confirmation of registration will be sent, and we will take note of the excess names to be included in the next course.
