We are pleased to share important news regarding our association AICARM.
After having completed various administrative obligations, AICARM has officially become aAssociation of Social Promotion (APS) and was registered in the RUNTS (Single Third Sector Register). Consequently the new official name is AICARM APS - Italian Cardiomyopathies Association.
The decision to transform ourselves into an APS and change our name was taken unanimously during the members' meeting last March on the proposal of the Board of Directors.
This transformation allows us to operate more effectively and flexibly and to be aligned with current regulations for the Third Sector. With the new name and status of APS, we will continue to work to support patients with cardiomyopathies, their families and the doctors and healthcare professionals who care for them, and promote awareness of these heart diseases.
