Corriere Salute talks about cardiomyopathies and Aicarm

Today we talk about cardiomyopathies and Aicarm in the Health insert of Corriere della Sera. The President of Aicarm - Prof. Franco Cecchi - examines the current situation in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiomyopathies - which are still too little recognized - and how much work remains to be done for affected patients who often feel alone and abandoned. Aicarm is working to identify and connect Italian specialist centers, build networks with other associations and set up a listening desk for patients and their families. Aicarm is also committed to the publication of verified information, to sensitize the installation of AEDs in schools and workplaces, to promote the training of expert patients and to manage cardiac emergencies with the use of the defibrillator.
