Cardiac arrest is a dramatic event that could happen to anyone but that patients affected by Cardiomyopathy fear in a particular way. Saving the life of those affected by cardiac arrest is possible, and also reducing the consequences deriving from the lack of oxygenation of the brain and other organs, but it is essential to intervene immediately with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation or CPR.
CPR consists of simple maneuvers that anyone can perform while waiting for emergency personnel to arrive for advanced resuscitation and immediate transport of the patient to a hospital facility.
These are simple maneuvers, but you need to know them and apply them without fear: in the event of cardiac arrest, only the unknown and inactivity should be scary.
Since the CPR course involves working on the ground with a mannequin to practice resuscitation maneuvers, and also the use of a defibrillator, everyone is recommended to attend wearing comfortable clothing.
