Ritmodan Shortage: AIFA Monitors, AICARM Defends Patient
In recent days, the Italian Medicines Agency has communicated the shortage of Ritmodan used for the prevention and treatment of arrhythmias. The Agency reports that supplies are expected to resume starting from May 20th and in the meantime it has implemented a strategy based on monitoring the remaining stocks and on an alternative dosage. AICARM APS was among the first to report the shortage and is closely following the situation to meet the needs of patients.
