Webinar
Summer has finally arrived!
The holidays are upon us and with them a thousand questions for those who live with a cardiomyopathy. Can I take a plane? What precautions should I take in the mountains? How should I manage my medications while traveling? What precautions should I take if I have an implanted defibrillator?
We thought of a webinar dedicated to these questions of daily life, to help patients and families live the summer with serenity and awareness.
A practical and concrete meeting, the last one before the summer break, to say goodbye with all the tools needed to enjoy a well-deserved holiday in safety.
See you… in September!

Programme
In this AICARM Webinar, lasting 45 minutes, we will dedicate ample space to outdoor activity, exploring the risks of altitude in the mountains, the precautions needed for those who enjoy swimming or diving, and the important topic of physical activity after a more sedentary winter – an issue that concerns many of us.
A particular focus will be dedicated to the Drug and Device Management during the holidays, from specific precautions for those who bring a defibrillator to creating the perfect travel emergency kit, without forgetting how to best organize daily therapies.
There will be no shortage of practical advice on sun, heat and hydration: how to protect yourself from the sun's rays, the importance of correct hydration and the signs that should never be underestimated when temperatures rise.
We will also talk about summer feeding, with specific nutritional advice for the holidays, suggestions on what to avoid and what to prefer, and strategies for better managing meals away from home without giving up the pleasure of the table.
The meeting will conclude with a broad space dedicated to your questions, where Dr. Maurizi will answer the most common doubts and provide personalized advice for specific situations you want to share.
