Expert Patient Course

The day's program has been designed to provide participants with the essential knowledge to become informed protagonists of their own health journey. We will begin with the basics: "What are Cardiomyopathies?" and "Important Diagnostic Tests," before moving on to topics of great practical relevance such as "Physical Activity and Sports," "Contraception and Pregnancy," "Arrhythmias and Their Treatment," and "Pacemakers and Defibrillators." The afternoon session will focus on "Therapeutic Perspectives" and the invaluable "Patient and Family Experiences," which often offer significant practical and emotional support to participants. This sharing experience is one of the most appreciated aspects of these courses. During the event, participants will be able to actively participate in the discussion by asking questions of the speakers, who will answer them live.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Course

During the day, the course will be held in a dedicated room. CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION dedicated to patients' families, held by the Dr. Gaetano Giarratana, on the topic: “Emergency Management and Theoretical and Practical Basis of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation,” which is open to patients’ families.
The course is part of the project "Promoting knowledge on cardiomyopathies and assistance to affected patients".
