An act of responsibility and transparency.
We present for the first time the Annual Report on the activities of the Italian Cardiomyopathy Association Aps. This is not a formal act nor just an informative documentation.
A Report is the certification of the organizational and operational maturity of the Association and, at the same time, a communicative act that shows all those who are part of it, know it or support it, the ability to help affected patients and their families and to make its voice heard at the highest administrative, legislative and governmental levels, thanks to the constant commitment of all the volunteers and financiers, whom I sincerely thank here.
In a Report, what counts most are the numbers, as is mandatory for those who must present results above all.
Here you will find many, which concern our most important projects such as the Listening Hearts Service and the Training Courses which are recording a growing success in membership. Just as the progress of the communication activities are recorded which unite in a qualified relationship the patients, their families, the doctors, all the volunteers and professionals who collaborate with AICARM Aps.
One of the objectives of the 2023 Report is maximum transparency in the use of resources:
an act of administrative responsibility that supports the reputation of associations like ours and allows them to present themselves with their papers in order in front of everyone: those who already accompany us and those who will see in us an essential presence to improve the lives of patients and promote greater awareness and assistance in the fight against these pathologies.
The 2023 Report records AICARM's participation in the drafting of the first report on cardiomyopathies in Italy "Cardiomyopathies matter", presented in the Senate on March 19, 2024. The report establishes some priorities to improve medical care and treatments with the aim of raising public awareness of these diseases and ensuring that they receive the necessary attention from health authorities. A new tool to strengthen our presence.
