
He holds the role of Cardiologist Medical Director with interventional duties in the electrophysiology room at the Santa Maria Nuova Hospital in Florence and is a Clinical Research Doctorate at the University of Florence. His scientific research activity is focused on cardiac rhythm disorders and his clinical activity is aimed at the diagnosis and treatment of the main cardiac arrhythmias and cardiovascular prevention.
After graduating in Medicine and Surgery at the Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna in 2014, he specialized in Cardiology at the University of Florence in 2019 after completing the training course in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging at the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato in Milan. He subsequently held the role of Medical Director with interventional duties in the electrophysiology room, arrhythmology consultancy and magnetic resonance imaging at the Arrhythmology and Electrophysiology Unit of the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato in Milan.
In 2021 he completed the Specialization Course in Cardiomyopathies directed by Prof. Olivotto at the University of Florence and began the Clinical Research Doctorate focused on the application of Artificial Intelligence systems in the field of atrial fibrillation.
He is a member of the Italian (SIC) and European (ESC) Society of Cardiology, of the latter also of the Arrhythmology subgroups (EHRA), of the National Association of Hospital Cardiologists (ANMCO) and of the Italian Association of Arrhythmology and Cardiostimulation.
(AIAC). He is the author and co-author of 35 international scientific publications.
