The Ragusa Days, the conference on "Women's Hearts"

Dear friends of AICARM,
This month, we've focused our newsletter on two events: the two-day event in Ragusa in September, which was a success beyond our wildest expectations, and the conference we'll be holding at the Istituto degli Innocenti in Florence on November 8th. Beyond the widespread and enthusiastic participation in the courses for expert patients and the cardiopulmonary resuscitation course, from Ragusa we're bringing awareness to the effectiveness of the format, based on direct encounters and the exchange of experiences, in building the community of aware and active doctors and patients that is at the heart of our mission.

The success of the courses: in Ragusa, patients are the protagonists

In-person courses are the most effective tool for achieving AICARM's mission of empowering patients to participate in decisions that affect them, empowering them to take ownership of their own treatment journey, and building community among patients and families. This was confirmed by the two-day event organized in Ragusa in collaboration with the Soroptimist Club Vittoria. The initiative was such a success that requests have already been made to repeat the initiative next year.
