AICARM NEWS – DECEMBER 2022

On 3 December Aicarm turned three years old. It is a great satisfaction to think about how far we have come in these 36 months. The response we received from the community of patients, their families and doctors was the confirmation of the fact that with our initiative we met a strong demand for support, information and accompaniment, including of a psychological nature, for those who are often unexpectedly confronted with a diagnosis of cardiomyopathy. At the same time we have been able to register a great sensitivity on the part of private and public institutions and bodies which have understood the character and importance of our mission. Thanks to this attention we are building a community ready to support and help each other equipped with effective tools, such as the Hearts in Listening service, as well as training opportunities such as the courses for expert patients which were held in Florence and Milan. All this while we were working to create a national and international network which is starting to bear fruit and which is essential for patients and their families to be able to meet the excellent and most up-to-date treatments and assistance available.
We are very proud of all this and in a spirit of friendship and closeness we send all our most sincere wishes for the upcoming holidays.
