In this appointment of the AICARM Webinar cycle, a fundamental theme for the quality of life of patients is addressed: nutrition in cardiomyopathies. A meeting to understand if there is a specific diet for those affected by cardiomyopathy and what are the most appropriate nutritional recommendations.

We will have as a guest the Dr. Sara Farnetti which will give us useful nutritional advice and recommendations for those living with cardiomyopathy.

Program

The event, of the duration of 60 minutes, includes an initial moment of dialogue between the expert and the moderator on the principles of functional nutrition and the specific needs of patients with cardiomyopathy. In the second part, the questions from the participants, who will be able to interact through the Zoom chat. Finally, the presentation of the ongoing projects of AICARM.

Dr. Niccolò Maurizi specialized at the University of Lausanne and is head of the Cardiomyopathy clinic at the CHUV in Lausanne. Former researcher at the University of Florence, he is co-founder of D-Heart and author of almost 100 scientific publications on cardiomyopathies.
